"We Can All Be Winners": Ruto Calls for National Cohesion

President William Ruto has urged religious and political leaders to foster unity among Kenyans to secure the nation's future.

Speaking during a church service in Jericho, Nairobi, on Sunday, Ruto reaffirmed his willingness to collaborate with like-minded individuals to advance his development agenda.

He cautioned leaders against spreading ethnic hate and political animosity, emphasizing that national transformation will continue despite criticism from detractors.

"The government is enough to accommodate all of us. It's not a must for one to lose for one to gain. We can all be winners," he stated.

Ruto expressed his desire for leaders from all sectors to work together for the collective good of the nation.

"It is my hope that all of us, leaders from all fields, can join hands and work together for the greater family of Kenya so that we can pass on the baton to the next generation of the Kenyan family as a united nation," he said.

The President also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to enhancing access to quality education, noting that approximately 17,000 classrooms have been constructed over the past year and a half, with plans to build more.

"The greatest legacy we can leave for our country is to make sure that every child in Kenya has education," Ruto emphasized.

Additionally, he highlighted efforts to provide housing for low-income Kenyans, pledging 40,000 housing units in Eastlands as part of a broader plan to build 500,000 units nationwide.
