Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi has declared his unwavering commitment to advocating for the rights of Kenyans, despite his recent dismissal from the Cabinet. In a bold statement shared on his X account, Muturi indicated that efforts to silence him would not succeed.

"If their intention is to silence me, they have dialed the wrong number, for I will never tire of fighting for the rights of the People of Kenya," Muturi tweeted.

The former CS's remarks come amid controversy surrounding his dismissal, which he attributes to his vocal stance on extrajudicial killings and abductions. Muturi has consistently alleged that his removal was motivated by his persistent demands for the government to address rising cases of enforced disappearances and unlawful executions.

His latest statement on social media has garnered significant public attention, with many Kenyans praising his resilience and determination. Supporters and critics alike have engaged in heated debates, with some viewing Muturi's stance as a principled stand against human rights violations, while others question his motives.

Muturi, however, remains adamant that his removal from office will not deter him from advocating for justice and accountability. He has previously accused President William Ruto’s administration of prioritizing political loyalty over addressing pressing human rights concerns.

As the conversation continues to unfold, Muturi's bold declaration signals his intention to remain a steadfast voice in Kenya’s political landscape, regardless of the challenges he may face.
