'I Don't Have a Home' – Nyako Speaks on Her Struggles in Germany

Kenyan content creator Nyako, who is based in Germany, has revealed that her circumstances have drastically changed, leading her to seek employment at a butchery while struggling with housing challenges.

During a live session, Nyako shared her struggles, disclosing that she is currently staying with a friend who rarely cooks, forcing her to rely on fast food.

"Since morning, I just took some tea and I've just left work. I'm hungry. And you know, I don't have a home. I stay at a friend's place, and the person barely cooks. So I have to eat this fast food until I move to my place. I'm working as a butcher at a butchery. I got a job. I asked you to help me pay rent, and you saw me as a useless person," she said.

Her financial troubles come after a reported fallout with the German government in 2024. According to Nyako, a fellow Kenyan allegedly reported her to authorities, accusing her of having significant wealth while benefiting from government-subsidized housing. As a result, she was evicted, marking the beginning of her struggles. She believes the accusations were made out of malice, which ultimately cost her a stable home.

Nyako’s appeal for assistance from Kenyans has drawn mixed reactions, with some reminding her of the lavish lifestyle she previously showcased online. Others have advised her to return to Kenya.

In 2024, she hinted at relocating to Kenya, citing challenges in making friends abroad. She mentioned that she might move once her 12-year-old son turns 16, planning to secure an affordable apartment for her children abroad while continuing to support them from Kenya.
